6th Annual Inland Port Symposium
THE 6TH ANNUAL DALLAS COUNTY INLAND PORT SYMPOSIUM WAS HELD ON APRIL 21, 2023. OVER 100 PEOPLE ATTENDED TO HEAR ABOUT THE GROWTH AND OPPORTUNITIES OF THE SOUTHERN DALLAS INLAND PORT.
NEW SERVICE LAUNCHED NOVEMBER 2, 2020
INLAND PORT TMA GOLINK SERVICE provides on demand shared ride service to areas outside of the DART Service Area within the Southern Dallas County Inland Port area.
- IPTMA GoLink operates from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Service is operated by STAR Transit and supplemented by UberPool.
- Customers can book trips via DART GoPass app
or by calling STAR Call Center.
Inland Port Rides is a late night rider assistance program offered to eligible employees of IPTMA business members.
- The IPTMA will subsidize $3 to each qualified trip.
- Trips must originate or end in at a designated Inland Port TMA member location.
- Eligible riders will book their trips via Uber App and choose UberX service to receive the $3 discount.
- Inland Port Rides operates from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Transportation options
dart RAIL & BUS
Take Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) light rail and bus service to select areas within the inland port. Primary connection points include the University of North Texas at Dallas rail station.
DART GOLINK
ON-DEMAND
Ride the rail, then have a car or van waiting for you at the station to get to your job. DART delivers convenient curb-to-curb transportation in the Inland Port DART Service Area. Ride GoLink at no additional cost with any valid DART fare. You also have the choice of using UberPool for your trips.
STAR Transit -
Desoto
Serving the City of DeSoto, with stops located at the Kohl’s e-Fulfillment Center, Wal-Mart Distribution, Methodist Charlton Medical Center, and the UNT Dallas Station. This route connects DeSoto to cities located in the inland port area with transfer points at The Crossing Shopping Center and the UNT Dallas Station on the Hutchins Shuttle Route 401.
STAR TRANSIT - HUTCHINS
The Hutchins Shuttle Route 401 has 10 stops serving the UNT Dallas Station on the DART Rail Blue line, FedEx Home Delivery, the Hutchins Senior Center, Cedar Valley College and the Hutchins Gateway Apartments.

A non-profit transportation company linking workers in Southern Dallas to job sites. Designated pick-up points are at the DART Ledbetter, Westmoreland, and UNT Dallas Stations. Departure times at 5am, 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 9pm, and midnight. Rides must be scheduled online or by phone 24-hours in advance. Also providing rides for senior citizens to medical medical appointments, the grocery store, senior day centers and anything in between.
On the road lending
Providing affordable loans, vehicle selection assistance and financial mentoring to get you on the road. Your interest rate isn’t tied to your credit score. Everyone who qualifies pays 9.75%. We’ll evaluate your budget to make sure you can afford your car expenses, including gas, maintenance and insurance.
CARpooling
Ride together to and from work together in a private vehicle and save time and money.
dart - vanpool
You and up to 14 others can share the ride to work. We'll even help match you up with other riders. A vanpool is a service to a workplace from an area not served by DART rail or bus. Riders are guaranteed a seat and share the cost of the van amongst the passengers
